Trim edges from bread slices while still frozen. Reserve crusts. Cut each slice into four strips, put strips and edges into 250 F. oven for 30 minutes. Cool. Roll toasted edges to a fine crumb or crumb in blender. Melt butter, add peanut butter. Dip toasted strips into hot mixture, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool, dip again into hot mix and roll in crumbs.
Snack sticks will keep indefinitely in an airtight container.
